Darwin Workshop
The Buslink Darwin depot has a sealed yard and parking area for the 85 buses that operate in the Darwin metro area.
This depot is the main repair centre for the Northern Territory. It has a large well equipped workshop, which is operated and managed by competent staff of various backgrounds.
We currently have 16 mechanics, which include Managers/Supervisors and apprentices.
Buslink has its own customized fleet maintenance software program which assists the workshop staff in ensuring our vehicle fleet is maintained at the highest standard and in line with Motor Vehicle Registry and statutory requirements.
Ready for Anything
The workshop has an air-conditioned engine and transmission rebuilding room, two service pits, a welding and fabrication area, an engine wash down bay, two bus wash down bays (staffed by 6 detailers) and two refueling bays.
A large selection of spare parts and repair materials are held in stock at the Darwin depot and can be dispatched to any one of our depots at short notice. This ensures vehicle down time is kept to a minimum, thereby providing continuity of service to our valuable clients.
Paint and Panel Shop
We also have a Paint and Panel Shop, with a state of the art Spray Booth which is staffed by 5 panel beaters/spray painters/body refinishers. Our Paint and Panel Shop is always busy with Buslink’s refurbishment program and keeping our fleet looking its best.
