Locally owned and operated

Buslink is a local business owned by Territorians, with its head office and main depot in Darwin (Berrimah). Buslink have supplementary depots staffed with local Managers in Humpty Doo (Darwin’s Rural Area), Jabiru and Alice Springs.

Each Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of their depot, and have all worked with the company for many years. Buslink have a policy of promoting within, and as such all of the current Managers started with Buslink as drivers. This enables Buslink to ensure that the Management team all have the experience and knowledge to deliver the best service possible to its clients.

Buslink has been in operation in the Northern Territory since 1988 and has grown to become the major private contractor for public transport in the Northern Territory. In the Northern Territory we employ around 240 staff and operate 170 vehicles to provide services to the Urban (Public Bus), School Bus, Special Needs and Charter networks.

Buslink is very active in the local market, sourcing business opportunities and finding solutions to transport requirements at a competitive cost to the client. Buslink relishes all new transport opportunities.

Servicing the Territory

The company’s personnel and equipment resources are extensive. Staff are well trained and multi-skilled. Senior Management have collectively over 100 years experience operating buses in the Northern Territory.

Beyond the NT

Our sister operation in Queensland, Buslink Queensland, operates bus services in Gladstone and the Sunshine Coast employing 150 staff who operate 120 buses.

We also have an operation in Mildura (Victoria) which employs approximately 80 staff who operate 60 buses.

Australia wide we have a large amount of resources – approximately 275 buses and over 300 staff – that can be pooled to achieve the best results.
